Our Banksia room caters for up to 30 children aged between 2 and 3 years. The educator to child ratio within this room is 1 educator to 5 children. We ensure that the same educators work within the room each week to ensure your child feels safe and secure in our care.
The children within this room are provided with a variety of different learning experiences throughout the day. These experiences include art and craft, imaginative play, outdoor play, construction, opportunities for social play and peer engagement, and group learning opportunities.
Parents are provided with updates on the children’s experiences throughout the day using the Xplor and Seesaw apps.

While your child is in our care you will need to provide the following:
- A backpack or similar to store your child’s belongings
- A water bottle
- A broad-brimmed sun hat
- Spare changes of clothes
- Fruit and a dairy option for Morning Tea
- 1 nappy for home time (if required)
- A well fitted, appropriately sized sleeping bag with feet, if required for rest.
