Within the Gumnut room, we can cater for up to 15 babies between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 months. The staff ratio in this room is 1 educator to 4 children. In our Gumnut Room, we ensure that the same educators work within the room each week to ensure your child feels safe and secure in our care.
Our dedicated and nurturing educators follow the individual routines of your child to ensure their transition into care is as smooth as possible.
Throughout their day the babies have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including outdoor play, craft experiences, storytime, singing, and dancing.
Parents are provided with updates on the children’s experiences throughout the day using the Xplor and Seesaw apps.
What we provide:

While your child is in our care you will need to provide the following:
- A backpack or similar to store your child’s belongings
- A broad-brimmed sun hat
- Spare changes of clothes
- 1 piece of soft fruit for Morning Tea
- Bottles and formula or breast milk (if required)
- 1 nappy for home time
- A well fitted, appropriately sized sleeping bag
