Each classroom environment is designed with children in mind. Children’s artwork and photographs are displayed throughout the room to further children’s sense of belonging to the environment.
Hawthorn Childcare Centre believes in the continuity of care and we ensure that regular educators care for your child.
As children become ready to move to the next class we offer a transitional period conducted over 4 weeks to ensure that they are happy and settled in their new environment. Families are consulted before, during, and after this process and your child will not be moved if you and or your child do not feel comfortable.
Activities offered include painting, stories, games, dance, outside play, sport, excursions, craft, computers, drawing, cooking and drama.
